On 7th of august there was no change as China is
still in the highest rank followed by USA and England capturing 3rd
place. Now China is with 73-medals consisting of 34-Gold 21-Silver and
18-Bronze, USA struggling hard to pull China back with 70-medals including
30-Gold 19-Silver and 21-Bronze and England getting second medals highest after
1908 Olympics where it got 146-medals in all including 56-Gold gets 48-medals
with 22-Gold 13-Silver and 13-Bronze.China seems sweeps Table Tennis too where
only one medal left behind. In other games AUS qualifies for Hockey semi-final
beating PAK by 7-0. GBR got gold in Women’s Omnium Cycling(Laura Trott), in Triathlon(Alistair
Brownlee), Horse
Riding and Show Jumping. China won 3-gold yesterday. American Alexandra Raisman
got gold in Women’s Floor Exercise, her 3rd-medal in London
Olympics. Spanish Marina Alabau Neira got gold in Women’s RS-X. Netherlands’s Epke
Zonderland got gold in Men’s Horizontal Bar and Dorian Van Rijsselberge won Men’s RS-X.
Russian (Ischenko N & Romashina S) got gold in Duet Synchronizing Swimming.
Pakistan’s Rabia ,its last hope, will take part in 800m heat on 8-August.
