Man has always been inspired by the moon and wanted to touch and keep it with him. From childhood to all ages it has fantasized every man on earth but none could touch and reach it except Armstrong who was the first man which landed on moon on July 20, 1969 saying his step though small for man for Giant Leap for mankind. On those days he was very excited for Apollo mission but his application was received after due date but fortunately the other candidates could not pass the test and Neil Armstrong was called on. Where he accepted the proposal without any hesitation and joined the mission as Civilian Pilot and astonished billions of people watching on their TV screen. He in all his life never took credit of this great mission by himself but always said that there were 400000 people working for this mission in different sectors to make it successful. He got a lot awards and medals for his services in Navy.
