Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium-Venue of ICC T20 World-Cup 2012

The Stadium is Hambantota, Sri Lank aand was Established in 2009. The stadium has a Capacity of  35000 with Playing area 100.0m long, 100.0m wide and  Floodlights  installed in 2010. the End's names are  Thanamalwila End, Sooriyawewa End.The Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium was especially built for the mega event, the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup. It hosted the first One Day International in 2011, when Sri Lanka played Canada in a World Cup fixture. It was also declared as one of the home grounds for Sri Lanka in the 2012 ICC World Twenty20.
